Each month the President of Quota writes a letter to the members.

Happy February!!

I hope that all is well with you and yours. Our Quota year had an interesting start. The first meeting had to be rescheduled because the Masonic Temple was closed and then again because of a snowy day. In spite of this we managed to get a lot of work done.

The committees are set and chairs have been appointed for the major fundraisers. Thanks to all of you who have volunteered for leadership positions.

The Membership Committee held an orientation in January for our newest member, Kim Whitehead. The Membership Committee is planning a recruitment tea. Please start thinking about friends who might be interested in learning more about Quota. Kathy Holt will have details soon.

The Service Committee has prepared the RFP and is ready to accept grant proposals for this year. The focus is disadvantaged children. Proposals will be accepted until March 3rd; so, if you are aware of any non-profit that might be interested in writing a proposal, please spread the word. If you have any questions, please contact Jackie Scott.

The Spring Luncheon/Auction will be on May 6th at the Whiting. We still have a few of the "'save the date" postcards if you need some.

There are plans for a trivia match in March.

Program meetings will resume in March, and we are planning to have some fun with Women's History.

Thanks to all of you for your dedication to Quota.

Carolyn
